Our Hive Node-in-a-box™ packages are for customers who want to run a server for the Hive network, whether for a Witness (block producer similar to miners), a Seed, or a lightweight RPC node (sometimes referred to as a "compact broadcast node").
You should only order these packages for use as a Hive node. They come with the Hive server software pre-installed, using our hive-docker (Hive-in-a-box), with the blockchain pre-replayed using our MIRA binary docker image.

Our WebBox™ packages are Debian 11 VPS's aimed at:

Novices who just want to run:

• Their own custom HTML / PHP website
• PHP apps like WordPress / Drupal
• Other apps made in Python or NodeJS
• Any other application you desire, if you know how to install it

Professional developers who want a VPS that:

• Has the Caddy web server pre-installed, and pre-configured for use with PHP out of the box
• Has the Nginx web server pre-installed, and pre-configured for use with PHP out of the box
• Has PHP 7.3 pre-installed and ready to use
• Has Python 3.7 or 3.8 pre-installed and ready to use
• Has the latest LTS of NodeJS pre-installed and ready to use
• Has pre-installed libraries such as Beem (Hive/Steem library) and Django (Python Web Framework)
• Has database systems including MySQL (MariaDB) and PostgreSQL pre-installed
• Has both Redis and Memcached pre-installed and enabled by default
